Who We Are

Our mission is to bring all the benefits of a full-scale claims analytics and medical economics department to our clients for a fraction of the cost.

Diadema Healthcare was formed to offer our skills and years of experience to help our clients succeed. Most of our work is contingency-based, so you incur no expenses without receiving the positive benefits to your bottom line. We bring significantly positive ROI.

Claim analytics and contract compliance and review are what we do best. Let us bring our seamless and powerful approach to your business and deliver the results your organization deserves.

Multi-year client relationships are testament to our commitment to service and results.

Our Executive Team

Todd W. Whitney

twhitney@diademahealthcare.com

Originally from New England, Todd got his degree in Actuarial Math from UCONN.  He has worn almost all the hats in the health insurance industry.  Previously, Todd has founded a health plan, built an ACO, and served as lead actuary on countless successful bids for clients.  Todd brings decades of experience and has an uncanny ability to read plan benefit designs and spot where the errors will likely occur.

Free time is shared across spin class, beach volleyball, or cruising the waters in and around the Gulf beaches of Florida’s West coast.

Scott M. Drake

sdrake@diademahealthcare.com

Scott is a rare Florida native and got his degree in Finance and Economics from University of South Florida in Tampa.  He has spent his career in corporate finance and healthcare.  Prior roles have included managing a national health plan’s service fund contracts, administering risk contracts for a national ancillary provider organization, and an online claims reporting software company.

Scott likes nothing more than building models to decode contracts and find financial opportunities for our clients.  When not wading through data, he’s a reasonably avid fly fisherman and likes to log as much time outdoors as possible.

What’s In A Name?

Diadema Antillarum, also known as the long-spined sea urchin, are the workhorses of the coral reef. These little critters work tirelessly to keep the reef healthy by ensuring that the algae doesn’t build up and harm the coral.

We here are not the heroes of healthcare, like the front-line providers, but rather we do our best work behind the scenes keeping the data elements healthy so the financial resources go to where they are needed and earned.
